What is saline tattoo lightening/removal ??

Saline tattoo lightening is a procedure where a saline solution is deposited into the skin using a tattoo machine or a manual tool.  The solution breaks down the pigment and then draws it up and out of the skin.

This method of tattoo lightening can take several sessions to achieve the desired results, however full removal can not always be achieved.  Saline lightening is a great option for those who wish to start their journey to lighten the unwanted pigment with the desire to eventually have fresh brows for a more natural look.

*Pink Fluff Tattoo only offers saline lightening for eyebrows.  There must be a minimum of 8 weeks between each session.

  • Do not get the area wet for the first 48 hours, clean surrounding area with a wash cloth avoiding contact with the treated area

  • After 48 hours the area will begin to scab. This is good and the longer the scab stays on the skin the better the result.  Cleanse the are TWICE a day with unscented soap and gently pat dry with a clean paper towel

  • Do not put any skincare products or makeup near the area until after the scabbing is gone and the area is fully healed

  • Do not scratch or pick the scabbing area.  Doing so may cause scarring, hyperpigmentation or prevent the saline removing as much pigment as possible

  • For 2 weeks avoid exercise/sweating, swimming, saunas, hot tubs.  Do not allow the shower to spray in your face or soak your face in the bath.

  • Once the scab has fallen off, you will begin applying a high quality oil THREE TIMES A DAY, i suggest vitamin E or Bio oil.  This helps the area heal fully by nourish the skin

  • Do not wax, thread or use any hair removal products on the area until the skin is fully healed
